inserted. The needles will stay in place for 30 minutes or so for every session
then they are removed. The points in the ear are being placed with ear tacks
(or ear staples) and adhesives are placed over them for protection. These ear
staples are where the needle was placed. Whenever a patient feels the urge of
eating in between regular meals, mil pressure is being placed on the ear
staples and rubbing them for about 20 seconds. This is done in order to
stimulate the release of endorphin giving a calming effect making it easier to
control the situation. After 3 days or less, the ear tacks are removed. On how
long the treatment will last will depend on the patient’s goal. The more often
the acupuncture sessions are done, the faster the weight loss will happen.

There are points in our
body where Qi (pronounced as chi) can stimulate and restore our system and
these are called acupuncture points. These points stimulate specific organs and
functions in our body to promote health and balance. The acupuncture points
