Foods that usually slow metabolism are foods high in fats and calories which are mostly dessert foods and alcohol, fatty meats and other animal products. Smoking is bad even if people say it suppresses appetite but the truth is, the nicotine found in cigarettes constricts blood vessels which also slow down metabolism.
