A Vegetarian Diet is more than just about losing weight but it is rather more of a healthy lifestyle choice. The diet is well known for its being restrictive when it comes to eating animal products but as mentioned earlier, with the different types of vegetarians, there are still those who eat some animal products such as egg and dairy. Vegetarians are said to be leaner than those who are not on this diet due to the fact that the foods eaten on this diet are low in saturated fat but rich in protein which means they are filling yet less calorie dense. But a vegetarian is not necessarily low in calories because there are people who are on a Vegetarian Diet but still gain.
