Apples

Apples are not only easy to find but they come in different forms and can be easily carried around and that gives you no excuse to not include it in your daily meal not unless your physician contraindicated it.

Spinach

Thanks to Popeye, almost everyone knows about spinach but not everyone knows how this green leafy vegetable comes with a long list of health benefits and one of which is how it’s low in calories. Just like apples, spinach is packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Plus, spinach can be included in salads or you may also add it to soups or turn it into other kinds of dishes.

Cottage cheese

If you are looking for a good source of protein, look no more as cottage cheese can very much hand that to you. Cottage cheese contains a protein called Casein which takes time to digest and if digestion is done in a slow pace which helps in weight loss. You may eat cottage cheese along with fruits and nuts or eat it by itself as a great snack.

    Oats 

    If there is one thing that oats are known for, it is being good for the heart. Oats also help in lowering blood cholesterol levels because it contain soluble fiber.     People tend to get confused between these two but as similar as they may seem, sweet potatoes and yams are actually two different kinds of foods but either way, they both bring about health benefits. Sweet potatoes contain loads of vitamins and minerals such as protein, vitamin A and C and calcium to name a few. They are the best source of carbs if you want to stay active because of its complex carbs and vitamin B.

      Chili peppers

      Chili peppers contain a nutrient called Capsaicin which has anti-inflammatory properties and helps in improving circulation. When a person includes chili peppers in his or her diet, that person gets the benefit of having one’s blood really cleaned up helping cells in making sure oxygen supply is in on its top performance. Although there have been misconceptions that spicy foods such as chili peppers only cause stomach problems, you will be surprised to hear that it actually is ideal in fighting ulcers.       Carrots
